Nice LRB contribution on Mann

Love LRB. Show me something better in English (ie. something that isn't stained with neo-liberal, anglo-saxon ejaculation - sorry, am having a bad day. My political temper is suffering... the longer I stay away from the UK, the more I associate it with the US. All I can say is, I'm glad not to be American or British. I'd have to defect and change nationality. The LRB would give me some hope as to a cultural significance of a UK nationality. (no offense boys... - I know you're not being represented, which is a case in point really).
