John Cleese on the art of creativity

John Cleese - unsurprisingly an adept public speaker - tells what he has learn about being creative. He says that he has found the work of Donald MacKinnon accords with his experience. I think MacKinnon's early work features in an Adam Curtis doc, something regarding his work for the OSS in the war. If anyone could tell me more, that would be great.
